HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?

WHEN WILL MY ITEM BE SHIPPED?
Your purchase will be shipped within 1-4 business days by either US Priority Mail or Fed Ex Ground, depending on location. I will send you a confirmation email with tracking number letting you know your order is on its way.
Destinations within UNITED STATES:
FRAMED INSECTS ship for $9.95 ($9 for state of California)
JEWELRY ships for $3.50 per order.
Destinations outside of UNITED STATES:
JEWELRY: $12 for international orders.
FRAMED INSECTS cannot be shipped abroad due to exporting restrictions.
CAN I RUSH MY ORDER?
Please contact me if you would like a faster shipping method. Additional fees are applicable and must be paid before the package is sent out.
WHAT ARE YOUR DOMESTIC SHIPPING/HANDLING RATES?
I DO NOT charge a handling fee.
Shipping for framed insects inside USA is $9.95.
Shipping for jewelry in USA is $3.50 per order.
WHAT ARE YOUR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES?
I CAN ONLY SHIP JEWELRY ABROAD. Framed insect displays cannot be shipped abroad due to exporting restrictions. However, I can ship butterfly wing jewelry internationally.
International shipping for Jewelry is $11 per order.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
At Bug Under Glass, I take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of my products. If you are not satisfied, you may exchange or return your insect display for a refund or store credit (less shipping charges) on any item sold within 7 days of receipt. Please contact me via email prior to returning merchandise. Please note, I am not responsible for shipping on returned merchandise. Sorry, I can’t give a refund on custom orders.
WHAT IF I RECEIVE DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE?
Please inspect your purchase as soon as it arrives. Damage claims must be made within 48 hours of the package arrival and cannot be made after 48 hours. If you have received an item that is damaged or defective, contact me immediately for a return authorization number.
DO YOU DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS? CUSTOM ORDERS?
Yes! I will work with you on designing a display just right for you, a friend, your wedding or company. To order your own custom masterpiece. There are no returns on custom orders.
DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE?
Yes, contact me with a resale number and whether you are an online store or brick and mortar.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY BUTTERFLY DISPLAY?
With basic proper care your Bug Under Glass insect display can last a lifetime. No special care is required but do avoid direct sunlight, close proximity to heating, and humid conditions.
DO ALL BLUE MORPHO BUTTERFLIES HAVE THEIR ABDOMENS REMOVED?
Yes, because oils in this butterfly’s abdomen stains their beautiful wings after they pass, the abdomen is always removed. You can’t find a Morpho butterfly on the market today with an abdomen.
ARE ALL PIECES EXACTLY THE SAME?
There may be very slight variations as all specimens are obtained from nature.
