Description
The Painted Beauty Butterfly is known to be a solitary butterfly and usually encountered hanging out by themselves, typically soaking up sun with their wings spread apart. It is considered one of the most beautiful butterflies in the upper Amazon basin, found from central Colombia to eastern Ecuador, southeast Peru, western Brazil and northeast Bolivia and despite being a large charismatic butterfly popular with collectors, little is known of its natural history. This framed butterfly art is also available with specimen displaying (dorsal) topside.
