The Fighting stag Beetle (Hexarthrius parryi) is one of the largest stag beetles in the world and a popular insect pet in Asia. Females lay eggs in rotting wood so the larvae can feed on it. This species is present in the forests of Southeast Asia, Indonesia and India.
