The framed Milionia drucei is from Indonesia and a member of the Geometridae moth family, which is known for its caterpillars which are called inchworms. The caterpillars move by extending the front of the body as far forward as possible, then bringing the rear of the body up to meet it, which is how they have received the name “inchworm” or “measuringworm.”
