Description
The Painted Jezebel wears a warning coloration of bright colors to announce its toxicity to potential predators. The gregarious caterpillars feed on tree parasites known as mistletoe, where the larva acquires toxins, which the insect will carry for protection till it dies. This butterfly art displays features the underside (verso side) of this butterfly. We sell another framed Delias butterfly species as well.
