This striking Asian butterfly in a frame is a member of the Swallowtail family. However, what is unique about this swallowtail butterfly is that it does not have tails on its hind wings like most members of the swallowtail family. Its common name “Mormon” is believed to have come from that unproven fact that males spend time with multiple females. This display is mounted featuring the bright red underside but also available displaying the top or as a collection showing front and back.
