Description
The Blue Triangle Butterfly is a striking black and turquoise Australian butterfly. In the caterpillar stage, this species feeds on cinnamon trees and other trees of the laurel family. When disturbed, the feisty caterpillar will rear up on its legs, exposing a pair of fleshy horns which can extend, grow bigger, and emit a strong scent to repel potential predators.
